The people behind Carabao
A family-run dive resort is only as good as the people on the beach. Ours come from all over the world, live and dive on Koh Tao year-round, and have a way of turning a few days of diving into friendships that outlast the trip.
Carabao isn't a big franchise with a rotating cast of staff. It's a small, family-run resort in Chalok Bay where the person who briefs your dive in the morning is the same one playing volleyball with you at sunset. That continuity is the whole point — and it's why so many of our reviews end up being about the people as much as the diving.
We make diving our passion — and that's contagious.
Between us we've logged thousands of dives on Koh Tao's reefs and pinnacles, taught every level from a first nervous breath to working professionals, and welcomed divers from dozens of countries onto the boat. We keep groups small on purpose, so you're never a number — you're part of the crew from day one.
Who you'll meet on the beach.
"We arrived as strangers and left with a family. The team remembered everyone's name, everyone's story — and made every single dive feel like a celebration."
